This is a picture of me taken eleven years ago. BEFORE the stress of Highschool and University studying late into the night gave me some wrinkles. Do I look that much different now? How vain of me to ask. I wonder what I'll look like in another eleven years.

Road Trip!

On monday Jill, Steph H. and John S. crashed the CCC staff conference in Whistler. What a day we had! With a few delays due to construction on the Sea to Sky highway, and good photo opts of the mountains, we spent the afternoon hanging out with various CCC staff, who were all shocked to see us. "What are you doing here?" They would exclaim. "We joined staff, didn't you know?" we'd reply, sarcastically. Actually, all four of us are thinking about joining staff either full time or as interns after we graduate. (Exciting times!) My plans are to start working at Campus Crusade as soon as I graduate (this year). Mike Woodard is going to be my boss -how exciting!

As we wandered through Whistler village, we visited with staff who live in all parts of Canada. It was good to reconnect with all of them. We were reunited with our Tanzania and North Africa project staff members. (Jill and John were on North Africa project and Steph was in Tanzania with me.) It felt like a family reunion as we sat down for the evening session. Each ministry within CCC Canada presented an update- God is good. Campus ministry received the loudest applause. It's interesting to note how many of the CCC laborers come out of Campus ministry. With the motto "Win, build and send", it makes sense that university students are not only won over to Christ (by initiative evangelism), and built into (though bible study and discipleship, conferences etc), but also sent to out communities, across Canada, and to many other nations to tell them about Christ.

So now, it's back to my regular life of painting, and more painting, and then some taping and a bit of washing before going on to more painting. The bedroom is looking very handsome. Fresh and airy.
